Journal of Animal and Plant Sciences (JAPS), a peer reviewed journal, has been published bi-monthly by the Pakistan Agricultural Scientists Forum (PAS FORUM), since 1991. It publishes original research and review articles on all aspects of animal (including fisheries/wildlife) and plant sciences, agricultural economics, rural sociology and other related subjects.

Publication procedure

Manuscripts are accepted for publication on the understanding that they have not been published and are not being considered for publication elsewhere. The Editor will assume that all named authors agree with the contents and form of the paper. The copyright of papers accepted for publication belongs to JAPS. All contributions are subject to editorial revision and Editor's decision will be final.

Scope of Journal

Journal of Animal and Plant Sciences (JAPS) is a bi-monthly publication and is being published regularly since 1991 by the Pakistan Agricultural Scientists Forum (PAS FORUM). It publishes original research papers, review, extension/clinical articles on all aspects of animal (including fisheries/wildlife) and plant sciences, agricultural economics, rural sociology and other related subjects. The journal is read, abstracted and indexed by the abstracting/indexing agencies of international repute.

Publication Ethics

Journal of Animal and Plant Sciences (JAPS) holds the ethics of publication as one of its core values and as such, adheres strictly to internationally accepted publication ethics. To ensure compliance, JAPS employs the double-blinded peer-review process for all articles. The rationale for double-blinded peer review process is to validate the integrity and novelty of the research work. Peer review process adopted by the journal acts as filter and increases the quality of research submitted for publication. This process also helps the authors to remove any errors or a gap in manuscript mistakenly overlooked and assists in making the research more applicable in real time.
